| LESCUT is based on the Rafael SCUTTER decoy system - a unique, sophisticated reactive expendable torpedo decoy, LESCUT covers the entire frequency band of torpedoes and has very high transmission source levels.
LESCUT receives, detects and identifies the torpedo threat and reacts with a tailored or generic response. LESCUT response overcomes all modern ACCM logics, including Doppler, elongation and range gates, as well as highlights discrimination. LESCUT is launched from the standard SRBOC Mk-36 chaff rocket launchers, or pneumatic launchers. |
