| SUBSCUT is based on the RAFAEL SCUTTER decoy system, a unique, sophisticated reactive expendable torpedo decoy. SUBSCUT covers the entire frequency band of torpedoes and has very high transmission source levels. SUBSCUT receives, detects and identifies the torpedo threat and reacts with a tailored or generic response.
SUBSCUT's response overcomes all modern ACCM logics, including Doppler, elongation and range gates, and as highlights discrimination. SUBSCUT will be launched from the submarine's signal ejector (SSE) tube or from external launchers. |
