| ZnS Component Production |
|
RAMP is a leading producer of domes, windows and lenses of high optical quality Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) used in FLIR imaging systems and in various missiles. Material can be supplied as domes or plates in sizes up to 600 x 300 x 15 mm. Polishing and coating are also available. Transparency is extended to the visible light range by applying hot isostatic pressure (HiP) treatment to the raw material. |

RAMP's optical coating center offers optical system manufacturers a full range of services from feasibility studies and definition of specifications, through advanced design and prototype development, to full scale production, including testing and QA. We specialize in precise polishing and coating of optical components designated for use in the spectral regions from the UV range to 8-12 microns. |

| Improved coatings using ion assisted deposition process Coatings of elements up to 50 cm in diameter.
Our major processing equipment includes coating chambers (for elements up to 12" diameter). We utilize a wide variety of deposition techniques such as Resistance, E-Beam guns and Ion Assisted.
Our testing facilities include UV, VIS and IR spectrophotometers, Optical and SEM inspection instruments, environmental durability test chambers. An optical polishing workshop is available in-house. |

| Replicated Optics |
| Replicated optical components are produced by transferring an optical surface to a desirable substrate without the need for high precision polishing. RAMP's Replicated Optics Laboratory has developed a wide range of processes to produce highly precise mirrors (P-V l/20). Surface quality is 10A RMS in the IR, visible and UV Ranges.
We offer mirrors on a wide variety of substrates, from metals, through ceramics, to composite materials integrated with the system's mechanical interfaces. This means more flexibility in the optomechanical design and production, increased reliability and cost-effectiveness. RAMP mirrors meet the durability requirements of MIL-M-13508 and MIL-C-48497A for temperature endurance and humidity. |

| Lens Holding Tubes |
| RAMP offers design, development and production of lightweight, high dimensional stability composite lens holding tubes for optical systems. Our holding tubes match thermal expansion coefficients to the system requirements. Components can be reinforced with graphite, carbon, glass or aramid fibers in order to achieve optimal mechanical and thermal performance. We offer production, testing and QA capabilities. |
