The SpotLite M is an electro-optic system installed on vehicles and AFVs that enables the detection and location of enemy fire sources from small arms, RPG rockets, ATGM, and tank shells; on the move, day and night, up to 360o coverage. This capability facilitates rapid reaction on two levels. One is at the threatened platform’s level: smoke screen, countermeasures, slewed cannon/weapon station fire. The other is at the tactical level: forwarding location coordinates via the tactical C2 network to cover or back-up forces so they can neutralize the target.
