PUZZLE™ is an innovative AI-based decision support suite, that combines multi-domain intelligence and artificial intelligence capabilities. The SPICE Family of autonomous, air-to-surface weapon systems convert 2000 lb, 1000 lb, and 250 lb unguided munitions into ultra-smart warheads capable of extremely accurate, simultaneous, high-volume attacks. Incorporating an E/O seeker with advanced scene-matching algorithms – as well as sophisticated navigation, guidance and homing technologies – the systems are agnostic to GPS-denied environments. They enable operation from stand-off ranges, delivering first-strike capability with minimum collateral damage. Operated from single and dual-seater fighter aircraft, pilots can allocate a mission for each weapon prior to its release.

ICE BREAKER™ is a long-range, autonomous, precision-guided weapon system enabling significant attack performance against a variety of high-value land and sea targets. The system, which is resilient to electronic countermeasures and fully operational in GNSS-denied arenas, uses an advanced, all-weather electro-optical IIR seeker with scene-matching and Automatic Target Recognition capabilities. It counters Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS) with low-level terrain following flight pattern above land, sea skimming above sea, VLO (Very Low Observable), and salvo attack capability. Compact and lightweight, Ice Breaker is suitable for jet fighters, light attack aircraft, and helicopters as well as small maritime vessels and ground vehicles.

As the latest evolution of the world’s most widely-used targeting and navigation pod, RAFAEL’s LITENING-5 incorporates a wide array of sensors enabling target detection, recognition, and identification. Known for its ability to shorten the sensor-to-shooter cycle, LITENING-5 provides electro-optical tracking of multiple dynamic and stationary targets. Its open architecture and vacant internal space enable integration of numerous capabilities and growth potential, such as SAR, ELINT, and more. LITENING-5’s advanced operational capabilities enhance the fighter’s mission and effectiveness of combat range through all types of air-to-surface smart weaponry, including laser-guided, GPS-guided, and EO/IR imaging-guided munitions.

A part of RAFAEL’s family of advanced aerial and ground electro-optical systems, RecceLite provides multi-spectral, multi-role, real-time stand-off and stand-in reconnaissance. The system consists of an airborne pod, a wide digital D/L, and a ground exploitation station. Recently, the latest model, the 3rd Generation Reccelite XR, successfully completed its development and testing phase. It enables extended stand-off ranges of over 80 km.

Microlite is a compact, lightweight EO/IR system for wide-area, day and night, persistent surveillance. Designed for small aerial platforms such as UAVs, mission aircraft, helicopters, towers, aerostats, and observation balloons, the system provides fast coverage of large areas at high rate and resolution, enabling the detection and tracking of multiple targets including small objects.

AEROSPIKE is a combat-proven, stand-off air-to-surface EO-guided missile system for light attack aircraft. Based on an advanced EO seeker with a high-end IR sensor and high-resolution VIS sensor, it is ideal for CAS and asymmetric scenarios as a counter to A2/AD. Operating at a stand-off range of up to 30-km in GPS-denied arenas, AEROSPIKE provides exceptional detection and tracking capabilities. Scene-matching, homing modes, and Automatic Target Acquisition (ATA) enable pinpoint precision, and a tandem shaped charge warhead handles air-to-ground attacks against a variety of targets.

The PYTHON-5 is a 5th generation dual-use Air-to-Air and Air Defense Missile adaptable to a wide range of aircraft. It is both a short-range missile ideal for dogfights and, at the same time, is a near BVR missile – presenting an extended envelope in head-on scenarios. It provides high kill probability with an unprecedented immunity to all types of IR countermeasures (IRCCM) and evasive target maneuvers. In addition, PYTHON-5 delivers an over-the-shoulder launch capability to the aft hemisphere, making it extremely dangerous to chase an AdAir platform carrying PYTHON-5. The missile is combat-proven and operational in five countries, and is certified for the F15, F16, Kfir, LCA, and F5.

The I-Derby ER is a short-, medium-, and long-range Air-to-Air and Surface-to-Air missile with a full-sphere launch envelope that includes the aft hemisphere. The system’s advanced, software-defined RF seeker, based on solid-state technology, enables flexible control of all functional parameters – providing exceptional performance against aircraft, helicopters, UAVs and evolving EW threats. Customizable electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCMs) handle the challenges of aerial combat in hostile environments. The dual-pulse rocket motor allows optimal thrust management for a significantly extended flight range, enabling short-range to Beyond Visual Range (BVR) intercepts. The missile has a look-down/shoot-down capability, LOBL and LOAL operating modes, and 2-way communication via the SDR. I-DERBY ER is designed for simple integration with leading aircraft, and can be used as an interceptor with RAFAEL’s SPYDER ER and LR Air Defense Systems.

SKY SHIELD is an all-inclusive, multi-purpose, fully autonomous Electronic Attack and Escort Jamming system integrated into a single compact pod. Certified for fighter aircraft, the off-the-shelf system enables Suppression
of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) and force protection missions, using built-in geolocation and jamming functions.
SKY SHIELD detects emissions of enemy radar and simultaneously suppresses multiple integrated air defense surveillance and fire control radar using accurate, high-power directional beams. Once threats are detected, SKY SHIELD supports the pilot in selection of the threats to be handled and generates a pre-defined EW technique for each threat. Simultaneous jamming and deception of multiple threats is possible by utilizing the system's fast switching AESA jammers with Gallium Nitride (GaN) amplifiers.

IRON BEAM is a 100kW class High Energy Laser Weapon System (HELWS) that is expected to become the first operational system in its class. It rapidly, and with pinpoint accuracy, intercepts a wide range of threats – including RAM, UAVs, and swarms of mini-UAVs – from a range of hundreds of meters to several kilometers. Engaging at the speed of light, IRON BEAM has an unlimited magazine, with almost zero cost per interception, and causes minimal collateral damage. Complementing RAFAEL’s IRON DOME, it can be integrated with a range of platforms and can become part of any multilayer defense system. DRONE DOME is an end-to-end, combat-proven, modular, off-the-shelf Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) that provides all-weather, 360° rapid defense against hostile drones. SKY SPOTTER is a passive EO early warning system with a high probability of detection and a very low false alarm rate. The system tracks multiple targets simultaneously with a 24/7 persistent capability. The use of highly sensitive MWIR, SWIR and day sensors – as well as WFOV and NFOV multispectral sensors – allows detailed inspection of selected targets. Advanced algorithms of automation, image processing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enable multiple targets to be detected, tracked and managed simultaneously. Proprietary algorithms for coupling EO and radar readings into a unified picture ensure a robust sensing capability in particularly difficult scenarios.

RAFAEL’s Precision EO Missiles enable surgical hits from far beyond enemy range – up to an unprecedented 50 km with SPIKE NLOS 6th Generation. RAFAEL’s expertise in precision missiles for helicopters, acquired over more than 2 decades, is based on the globally deployed and combat-proven SPIKE Family of missiles and the experience gained from each successive SPIKE generation.
