Operational, with over 15 years of proven success, SPYDER is the choice of eight of the world’s most sophisticated armed forces including the Czech Republic, the first NATO member to deploy SPYDER systems. The SPYDER Family of short- to long-range mobile, quick-reaction, combat-proven Air Defense Systems includes: SPYDER SR, SPYDER MR SPYDER LR, SPYDER ER and the newest member, SPYDER All-in-One. : They rapidly neutralizes multiple and diverse aerial threats such as aircraft, UAVs, and precision guided munitions. It is now enhanced with a sophisticated counter-TBM (tactical ballistic missile) capability. Flexible, customizable, and transportable by aircraft, the New Generation SPYDER, based on Open Architecture, integrates advanced new sensors, effectors, and launcher configurations which can be flexibly combined.
SPYDER’s precision interceptor missiles – the PYTHON 5™ with dual-band Imaging Infra-Red (IIR) and CCD Seeker, and the I-DERBY ER with a 2-pulse rocket motor for longer ranges and improved maneuverability – can be tailored to operational and mission requirements.

Operational and combat-proven systems
Engage and destroy a wide spectrum of hostile threats
Open architecture, reconfigurable
High redundancy – Full passive engagement & fast redeployment
Dual-use missiles, air-to-air and surface-to-air
Unique combination of two missile types – with IIR or RF seekers

The systems include on-the-move threat detection, 360° all-weather launch within seconds, and simultaneous and autonomous handling of multiple threats including saturation attacks.
The SPYDER SR™ and SPYDER ER™ have Lock-On-Before-Launch (LOBL) capabilities, a slant launch, and a range of up to 40 km. SPYDER MR™ and SPYDER LR™ provide medium- and long-range interception via a vertical launch, with a range of up to 160 km.
The new SPYDER All-in-One configuration is a quick-reaction air defense system that integrates radar, TopLite™ EO/IR sensor, and launcher on a single platform – fully addressing individualized mission needs and the complex realities of modern warfare.
