IRON DOME is the only multi-mission, combat-proven system capable of simultaneous protection against a broad spectrum of increasingly diverse threats – including air breathing as well as SHORAD, C-RAM and PGM threats – in high-density salvos, day and night, and in all weather conditions. Continuously evolving, the IRON DOME Family – includes the C-DOME naval version – as well as the mobile I-DOME– enables an end-to-end air defense solution, protecting land, maneuvering, and maritime forces as well as strategic assets and civilian population centers. Main Capabilities

Selective Defense

IRON DOME differentiates between threats that are on a trajectory to hit targets within a defended area and those that will fall into open fields or into the sea. By responding only to threats headed toward defended areas, It limits the number of interceptor launches, significantly reducing costs. IRON DOME's unique TAMIR™ interceptor has a special warhead that detonates the target warhead in the air.

I-DOME Mobile Solution

The flexible I-DOME system provides critical mobility. The powerful, life-saving system can be easily transported to any location, making it available whenever and wherever required to protect maneuvering forces, air bases, and strategic assets as well as civilian populations with timely and effective responses. Various configurations can be integrated on a wide range of platforms using designated types of launchers.
